Clock struck midnight,
And a star is born.
Many moons ago she took flight,
out of her mother’s womb the baby girl shone.
She sings like there is no tomorrow,
Or some say no tune,
She dances like a sparrow
To Debussy’s Clair de Lune. .
Her talent knows no boundaries, no barriers,
She can imitate any accent and speech pattern.
But her biggest gift of all, this warrior,
Is lighting up my life like a lantern. .
We have never travelled together,
Because you hate to fly.
So I asked Billy to photoshop you into this picture,
You see how hard I try. .
This is my ode to our friendship,
My love for a dear pal all in a song,
Now, I will go and cook fish and chips,
